Vice President JD Vance took aim at Israel over discontent with the memorandum of understanding with Iran to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Israeli officials across the political spectrum, including some of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s allies, have criticised the agreement, saying it did not address their concerns over Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programmes and would tie down Israel’s military operations against the Iran-backed Hezbollah militia in Lebanon.

The US and Iran remotely signed a 14-point agreement that would put an end to the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

The deal has 14 points and includes a commitment from both sides to hold further talks on a final agreement in the next 60 days.
